Seattle is now available for all customers, and marks our second site on the West Coast of the United States (with more coming soon!).

Moving workloads a few hundred miles closer to home can make a big difference for performance. Knowing this and the importance of performance for developers of all levels is part of Akamai’s drive to open additional compute sites, including in locations where we have a strong established presence. 

Seattle’s Tech Industry and Akamai: A Perfect Match

Seattle is the second-highest ranked tech talent market. As both a startup hub and key location for enterprise tech companies, Seattle has been a highly requested destination for our customers, including partners and innovative startups.

Seattle is ready for workloads that scale rapidly with services including Object Storage, Premium CPU, and Linode Kubernetes Engine.

Getting Started

Customers can deploy new compute, storage, and networking resources in Seattle (us-sea) using the Cloud Manager and API documentation. If you are new to Akamai cloud computing services, you can create an account.
