Greg Grimmer, the former Global COO at digital agency Fetch, is taking over as CEO of Mediatel from July 1, when Derek Jones steps back to become Executive Chairman of the independent London-based business. Mediatel contains Mediatel Events, which runs the Future TV Advertising Forum series of global conferences, Connected TV World Summit and Videoscape Europe. Videonet and Mediatel Newsline are also part of the Mediatel Events/Mediatel portfolio.
Mediatel also provides a copy delivery service for the radio sector via Audiotrack in partnership with Peach, and has run J-ET, the radio industry’s trading platform, for almost 20 years. Other parts of its business focus on the out-of-home sector where it runs SPACE, an industry standard database of UK OOH sites.
