The go-to-market target for standards-based 5G services has been moved forward by a year, with an expectation that chipsets and handsets will be available by 2019, making the recent ‘What 5G means for media’ conference session at IBC all the more relevant. He also explains the role of the cloud in enabling 5G-based video service delivery.
