V-Nova caused a stir when announcing the company and its PERSEUS video compression codec in April. Here Guido Meardi, CEO and Co-Founder and Eric Achtmann, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder, describe the reaction of the video ecosystem, reporting that there has been a rush for the technology since it became clear the new codec runs on anyone’s hardware and is fully interoperable with existing video environments and codecs.
