At IBC 2014 Accedo is launching its new generation multiscreen solution, Accedo VIA. This solves the technical challenges of multiplatform delivery, meaning operators, media companies and broadcasters can concentrate on creating a unique and compelling user experience for their customers, the company says. It will be holding daily 30 minute VIA demonstrations at the Accedo stand at 3pm Saturday to Monday, as well as on the booth.
The company is also using the show to present the next generation of its AAS Appstore solution, which manages multiple applications and services across many platforms and devices. AAS has full Android compatibility, meaning that the platform can manage any Android application developed for TV usage. “This allows our customers to tap into the large Android developer community, whilst maintaining control of the application lifecycle and business models,†Accedo notes. Visitors can also see daily 30 minute demonstrations of AAS at 10am Saturday to Monday and also within the booth.
