Banijay Rights has partnered with Amagi, an SaaS-based solution provider for broadcast and Connected TV, to drive its FAST strategy worldwide. Amagi has facilitated FAST channel creation for the large global content producer and distributor, as well as enabled distribution and monetisation on FAST platforms, such as Samsung TV Plus, The Roku Channel, Freevee and LG Channels.
Banijay Rights has said it has sought to amplify its reach and revenue in the FAST space by leveraging Amagi’s cloud-led solutions including CLOUDPORT – a cloud-built channel playout and distribution solution which allows for multi-country feeds to be centrally managed. The deployment improves the efficiency of large broadcast operations, according to the companies. Amagi’s other products Amagi THUNDERSTORM and Amagi PLANNER have been leveraged for dynamic ad insertion as well as automating content scheduling.
Srinivasan KA, Co-founder, Amagi, said: “As a key member of the content marketplace, connecting premium content providers with the most sought-after OTT platforms, we were ecstatic to collaborate with Banijay Rights. FAST is increasingly becoming synonymous with quality programming. It’s exactly where a media powerhouse like Banijay Rights should be, and we’re thrilled to have facilitated that.”
Shaun Keeble, VP Digital, Banijay Rights commented: “At Banijay Rights we are uncompromising in our commitment to quality, and we’ve always associated ourselves with content projects that are powerful and transformative. Our choice of technology partners is no different – and we look forward to accomplishing great things with Amagi.”
