The flags are flying at half-mast at Videonet this week as we mourn Queen Elizabeth II, one of the greatest human beings of our time. We share the widespread admiration of her life and work, and are deeply saddened by her passing, but grateful to have had such a fine monarch for the United Kingdom – a person who inspired respect and love far beyond her own shores. Many fine words have been spoken in the last week but the quote that particularly resonates is this: “She was a friend to her people”.
