Red Bee Media’s new media management facility in London is being powered by its Nucleus platform, which the company is showcasing at NAB Show in Las Vegas this week.

Red Bee’s recently-opened new facility, based at its offices at Broadcast Centre, White City, features an AV ingest area, post production facilities and is connected to all Red Bee Media-supported playout and OTT platforms.

Nucleus was introduced at IBC in September and is a next-generation media management platform based on hybrid cloud technology that supports media management services for broadcasters and content providers.

The fully-managed service covers ingest to distribution with automated and manual workflows and allows for both cloud-based editing and integration with leading editing platforms. Clients for the offering include the BBC.

“We have made a major investment to create a state-of-the-art offering, catering to all Media Management needs on a global scale,” said Steve Russell, head of media management and OTT, Red Bee Media.

“Our services offer high flexibility, fast onboarding and a range of competitive commercial models. With our new London facilities, we are taking the next step in enriching, managing and connecting media assets.”

Red Bee Media will showcase its full Media Management offering at NAB Show 2019, at stand SU1620, South Upper Hall, Las Vegas Convention Centre.
