Following ADB’s announcement of a new range of application-specific software solutions dubbed ‘ADB Connected Solutions’, the company has revealed a European win for one of the key components, its new Business TV Solution.

Hotel Ruben in Zielona Góra, Poland, has chosen it to enhance the TV and entertainment packages it provides to its guests.

ADB’s Business TV Solution is an end-to-end platform designed to deliver linear TV, IPTV, VOD, and OTT content in commercial environments, and offers an easy-to-implement delivery platform using a network transport agnostic solution.

At its heart lies ADB’s CVS software, which is already deployed in tens of thousands of US hotel rooms. ADB claims it is being rapidly adopted by many operators and commercial customers around the world – and Hotel Ruben’s implementation represents its first European deployment.

The software is designed to make the provision of high-quality entertainment in hotel bedrooms easy to manage and provide property owners with new guest revenue streams. ADB CVS is used in conjunction with a client application that displays what ADB describes as ‘a simple and appealing user interface’ from either a set-back box or through integration within Smart TVs.

Visitors to IBC 2015 will be able to see demonstrations of ADB’s Business TV solution, along with other components of its ADB Connected Solutions suite, on its stand #4.B52.
